Independence Day Celebration – 14 August at Snehkunj

HCPA celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day on 14 August 2026 with great enthusiasm, pride, and patriotic spirit. The celebration brought together our children, residents, parents, teachers, caregivers, staff members, and special guests in a warm and joyful atmosphere.

The programme was honoured by the presence of Mr Davinder Kapoor Relaxo Footware who joined the Sneh Kunj family and encouraged the children with his presence and support. Parents of children with Cerebral Palsy (CP) also participated in the celebration, making the occasion even more meaningful and inclusive.

The programme began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem and patriotic activities. Our children with Cerebral Palsy enthusiastically participated in the celebrations and presented a range of performances, including singing, dancing, and other cultural activities. Their confidence, enthusiasm, and joyful participation made the celebration truly special.

The participation of the children and their parents beautifully reflected Snehkunj’s commitment to creating an inclusive environment where every child and adult with special needs is encouraged to participate, express themselves, showcase their abilities, and experience a strong sense of belonging.

The celebration concluded with smiles, appreciation, and a renewed feeling of unity, dignity, inclusion, and love for the nation. The presence of distinguished guests and families made the day memorable for everyone at Snehkunj.

Snehkunj wishes everyone a very Happy Independence Day!
